Durham County Library’s Main Library to Reopen, Today, July 28 at 9:30 a.m., Following a Brief Closure due to HVAC Issues
Durham, NC — Durham County Library is pleased to announce the reopening of Main Library, located at 300 N. Roxboro Street, today, July 28 at 9:30 a.m. following a brief closure due to unexpected HVAC issues.
“We were very disappointed to have to close Main Library so quickly following our grand reopening on July 20,” said Tammy Baggett-Best, Library Director, “but are thankful for our county General Services team who worked so quickly to correct the issue. We look forward to welcoming everyone back today.”
The previously announced, expanded hours for all Durham County Library locations are as follows:
The hours for Main Library, East, North, South, and Southwest Regional Libraries, and Stanford L. Warren Branch Library are:
Monday–Wednesday 9:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
Thursday–Saturday 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m.
The hours for Bragtown Branch Library are:
Monday 1–8 p.m.
Tuesday–Friday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
All locations are currently closed on Sundays.
