Durham County Library’s Stanford L. Warren Branch Collection is Currently Being Moved in Preparation for Building Repairs

Durham, NC — Durham County Library has begun the removal of the Stanford L. Warren Branch Library’s collection, including the Selena Warren Wheeler special collection, in preparation for building repairs. The Branch, located at 1201 Fayetteville Street, temporarily closed on August 27, 2021 due to water intrusion issues, and team members from the location were temporarily reassigned to other Durham County Library locations. The anticipated re-opening of the Stanford L. Warren Branch Library continues toward the target of late 2022. Visit all other Durham County Locations during these hours:

Monday-Wednesday                      9:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
Thursday-Saturday                          9:30 a.m.–6 p.m.

The hours for Bragtown Branch Library are as follows:

Monday                                               1–8 p.m.
Tuesday–Friday                                10 a.m.–6 p.m.

All locations are currently closed on Sundays.
