To receive Homebound Delivery service, you agree to the following:

You are a resident of Durham County, North Carolina.
If you do not already have a library card, you will register for one.
You will keep your library card in good standing.
You are unable to use and/or travel to a library facility due to age, illness, or physical disability.
You will not return materials contaminated with bed bugs or other invasive insects. Should you return infested items Homebound Delivery service will be suspended until you provide the Library with adequate proof of professional pest control services being rendered at your home.
Deliveries will not occur when the Library is closed, such as on holidays or for emergency closings.
You may request specific titles via phone, on a paper form that will be provided to you each month, or through the Library’s online catalog.
You may request that Library staff select materials for you based on your interests. Additional items must be requested by you. With this option, you may receive items that you have already read, watched, or listened to.
Homebound delivery is a free service, though you will be responsible for replacement costs of borrowed items that are lost, damaged, or not returned to the library.
