Ciera is the Business Services Manager. After traveling around the world, Ciera’s love for literacy and creativity pulled her back to Bull City. She has a passion for creating and fostering community partnerships; because when you include your community you offer opportunities to create services that benefit everyone.

Jacinta, a dedicated Business Services Assistant, brings over two decades of expertise in business development, marketing, and sales to the table. Her driving force is aiding small businesses in realizing their ambitions. She thrives on guiding entrepreneurs through growth stages, introducing efficient strategies to alleviate stress and propel them towards their objectives. Jacinta firmly believes in the library as a hub for nurturing creativity, forging connections, and fostering collaborative endeavors.

Jana is a Senior Library Assistant in the Business Services Unit and has a background in public policy, economic and workforce development, and as a small business owner.

Nadia

Nadia, Part-time Business Services Assistant, specializes in tactical process improvements, resume guidance, content management, and organic search engine optimization. She earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Georgia State University (Fight Panthers!) and has a background in tourism, digital marketing, and information management. Her previous work in economic development focused on small business, community engagement, and placemaking. Currently, Nadia is enrolled as a graduate student at UNC Chapel Hill’s School of Information and Library Science with an interest in consumer health informatics and information access.
