Non-residents of Durham County

If you’re not a resident of Durham County, you can get a non-resident card for $45 per year. This card gives you the same privileges as a resident card. You can check out physical items, ebooks, e-audiobooks, and digital music and videos. You can also use a library computer and reserve meeting or study rooms.

To request a new non-resident card, you’ll need to come to any Durham County Library location in person. After that, you’ll be able to renew your card online each year.
