Diamond es la gerente de servicios para niños en la Biblioteca East Regional. Amante de las bibliotecas desde el principio, siempre se la podía encontrar en la biblioteca ayudando a los bibliotecarios desde sus días en la escuela primaria. Desde entonces, ha ido ascendiendo por todos los niveles de la biblioteca pública, empezando como voluntaria adolescente, asistente de biblioteca, asistente auxiliar de biblioteca de servicios para niños y ahora gerente de servicios para niños. Aunque la mayor parte de su experiencia laboral la ha obtenido en bibliotecas públicas, también tiene experiencia trabajando en bibliotecas académicas de todos los niveles, como asistente de biblioteca en su preparatoria, pasante de biblioteca en su universidad mientras cursaba su licenciatura y asistente de posgrado en su biblioteca universitaria. Aunque disfrutó trabajar en una biblioteca académica, los servicios para niños de la biblioteca pública ocupan un lugar especial en su corazón. A Diamond le apasiona poner libros en las manos de niños pequeños para promover la lectura desde una edad temprana. Cuando no está trabajando, le gusta visitar mercados agrícolas, tomar clases de yoga y pasar tiempo leyendo en las cafeterías locales.
