Originaria de Virginia, Lauren y su familia llevan más de diez años viviendo en Durham. Después de obtener su MLS de la universidad UNC Chapel Hill en 2020, Lauren ha trabajado en Servicios Juveniles en varias bibliotecas públicas de los alrededores. Desde el momento en que orientó su carrera hacia la bibliotecología, Lauren supo que quería centrarse en niños pequeños. Gracias a su experiencia previa en educación de la primera infancia, ella entiende profundamente la importancia de promover los conocimientos en la alfabetización temprana. Como madre de dos niños menores de seis años, Lauren vive y respira todo lo relacionado con el desarrollo de la infancia y el aprendizaje temprano.
