Leah tiene más de 16 años de experiencia en el servicio público, tanto como especialista en alcance comunitario con constituyentes del distrito para un legislador estatal y trabajando en las bibliotecas públicas. Obtuvo su licenciatura en la Universidad Estatal de Nueva York en Potsdam y su MLS en la Universidad Clarion. Es una apasionada por lograr un impacto positivo en la Biblioteca del Condado de Durham a través de un enfoque específico en la prestación de un excelente servicio al cliente, la ampliación del acceso a los recursos y servicios, y el empoderamiento de las personas.
